BOOST – Internal communications support services

Flexibility, without breaking the system

CommsKit is built around structured programmes and proven frameworks – because consistency, clarity and discipline deliver better outcomes.

BOOST exists for everything that needs a little more flexibility.

BOOST offers flexibility with  internal communications support services. This allows you to add on to any CommsKit project you already have in place and extend it in the direction you need – without undoing the structure that makes CommsKit work.

For requests that fall out of our BOOSTS, check out our other KITS.

What BOOST is

BOOST is CommsKit’s flexibility layer. It gives you a simple, structured way to extend your CommsKit work when something sits outside the standard product scope – without reverting to ad-hoc agency working.

It gives you a controlled way to:

  • Extend work beyond agreed product scope
  • Add enhancements or additional outputs
  • Adapt campaigns to suit real‑world needs
  • Apply CommsKit thinking to one‑off or specialist requirements

BOOST works alongside Engage, Connect, Loop, OnBoard and the Kits to give you flexibility without chaos.

Why BOOST exists

CommsKit is intentionally structured. That structure improves outcomes, but it can feel restrictive when new needs arise.

BOOST exists to solve that with internal communications support services

It gives you room to adapt when you need to – while keeping budgets, delivery and expectations clear.

What you can use BOOST for

BOOST covers any request that sits outside the defined scope of your CommsKit services.

Common examples include:

  • Additional changes or extra rounds beyond standard delivery
  • Custom or one‑off campaigns
  • Employer branding assets
  • Social media content
  • Integrated reports (annual, sustainability, ESG)
  • Event and special‑day kits (e.g. marathons, awareness days)
  • Recognition packs and certificates
  • Employee surveys and analysis
  • Specialist consulting support

If it extends, enhances or adapts your existing CommsKit work – it’s usually a BOOST.

How to BOOST your internal communications support services

Clients use BOOST because it gives them additional internal communications support services:

  • Flexibility without undermining structure
  • A clear way to manage changes and additions
  • Cost certainty through pre‑approved credits
  • Fewer delays caused by quotes and purchase orders
  • Access to CommsKit expertise beyond standard outputs

It keeps your communication programme moving – without slipping back into reactive, fragmented working.

How BOOST credits work

BOOST is delivered through BOOST credits.

You purchase a pack of credits upfront and use them as needed over time.

  • Credits are shared across all CommsKit products
  • Credits are valid for 12 months from purchase
  • Requests are assessed and quoted in credits before work begins
  • Credits are deducted only once you approve the work

Credit packs are available: 25/50/100 credits and start start from $3,750 per pack.

Larger packs offer greater flexibility and reduce the need for repeated purchase approvals.

BOOST is there for flexible internal communications support services.

What BOOST is not

BOOST isn’t about limiting you – it’s about keeping things clear, workable and effective.

Rather than slipping into reactive, ad‑hoc creative agency working, BOOST is designed to sit comfortably alongside your core CommsKit programme.

Things you can BOOST
  • BOOST is available to organisations already working within CommsKit
  • BOOST builds on an existing programme or kit, rather than replacing it
  • BOOST is planned and prioritised alongside your agreed delivery
  • BOOST avoids last‑minute or urgent requests that disrupt outcomes for everyone
Things you can't BOOST

Some work is intentionally kept outside BOOST, simply because it needs a different type of engagement. This includes:

  • Standalone logo or brand identity design
  • Standalone templates or assets outside a kit
  • Website builds not linked to a defined campaign
  • PR, media placement or crisis communications
  • RFP or pitch development

If your needs start to sit consistently outside the CommsKit model, we’ll talk about that early and help you decide on the most appropriate next step – whether that’s adjusting your programme or exploring a different solution.

BOOST is designed to work quietly in the background.

You may not need it often. But when you do, it’s there – structured, transparent, and aligned to how CommsKit works best.
